On July 20, 1968, Maureen married the love of her life, Bob Day, Jr., a year before the historic moon landing. The couple later moved to Texas, where they welcomed their two lovely daughters into the world.
Maureen had a passion for travel and cherished spending time with her family. Among her favorite journeys were her honeymoon in the Hawaiian Islands, a cross-country trip through the National Parks with her grandson, Ethan, her 50th Anniversary celebration in the Canadian Rockies, and a recent Mediterranean Cruise from Barcelona to Rome.
Throughout her life, Maureen remained a gentle, selfless, and thoughtful person, always loyal and optimistic. Her inquisitive and intellectual nature made her well-read and curious about the world. She inspired those around her with her gentle spirit and her ability to find beauty in the everyday, a legacy her children continue to honor.
