

Michele Ricketts Holmes, 61, of Rogers, Arkansas sadly passed away on February 25, 2025. Michele was born September 18, 1963, in Fayetteville, Arkansas to David Lynn Ricketts and Mary Louise “Lou” Ricketts.
Above all, Michele was passionate about her recovery and commitment to Alcoholics Anonymous. She was a grateful, active, and loving member of AA, and she devoted many hours to the program. November would have marked her 30th year of sobriety. It was at AA that Michele met her husband, Rick, in 2015, and the two were married in 2017.
Growing up in Northwest Arkansas, Michele loved spending time outdoors. She especially loved to water ski at the lake and vacation at camp.
Michele graduated from North Texas State University and worked as a surgical tech at Precision Surgical Center and Willow Creek Women’s Shelter. She loved these jobs equally and formed lasting friendships with her coworkers.
Michele was an active member of the Rogers Wellness Center. She enjoyed working out, cycling, and spending time on Beaver Lake.
Michele’s radiant smile was infectious and could light up any room. She especially loved her family and her precious dog, Ella. She will be remembered for her incredible warmth and kindness.
Michele is preceded in death by her parents, David and Lou Ricketts, Aunt Barbara and Uncle Bill, and Uncle Tommy.
She is survived by her husband, Rick Holmes; brothers, Rob Ricketts and Jeff Ricketts; Uncle Harvey and Aunt Donna, Aunt Dyan and Uncle Steve, and Aunt Ginger and Uncle Gerald; nieces, Jennifer (Nate) and Holly (Jake); grand nieces and nephews, Mason, Graham, Mia, Olivia, and Reagen; and cousins, Mona, Dina, Donna, Denise, Shannon, Gina, and Travis.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 29th at 11:00AM at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers, Arkansas.
