Mikah Alonzo Ramirez was born on July 23, 2014, and passed away on June 4, 2026, at 11:11 pm. Though his time was far too short, Mikah’s presence was unmistakable—bright, generous, and deeply loving to those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be remembered as an amazing young man and a wonderful friend, whose kindness and steady warmth left a lasting mark on everyone he met.
Mikah attended Apple Glen Elementary School and Barker Middle School, where his intelligence and good heart were evident in the way he connected with others. He brought people in with ease, and it was clear that friendship mattered to him, something reflected in how much he was loved in return.
An active and enthusiastic kid, Mikah loved sports and the joy of simply being outside and moving. He loved playing basketball and football. He was a Bentonville Youth Athletics football player and was excited to play football for the Washington Junior High School team in the upcoming school year. He also loved listening to music, playing the saxophone, and gaming it up with his friends on the Oculus and PlayStation.
Those closest to Mikah will carry forward the memory of a boy who never stopped smiling. He will always be known for his laugh and smile, and for his trademark long, beautiful hair—which he never ever had cut. At home and among friends, Mikah was celebrated not only for what he could do—like playing his PlayStation better than all his friends—but for how he made others feel: included, cared for, and understood.
To his family, Mikah was the best “big little brother”—not only to his older siblings, but also to all their friends who loved him. He was amazing in the everyday ways that matter most.
Mikah is survived by his mom, Elisabeth Ramirez; his dad, Marcelo Ramirez; his brothers, Marcelo Ramirez and Dakota Seals; his sister, Zarya Ramirez; his grandma, Frances Lafayette; and his grandpa, Manuel Ramirez. He is preceded in death by his grandpa, Dana Charles Lafayette, and his grandma, Diana Ramirez.
Mikah will be remembered with profound love—an irreplaceable son, brother, grandson, teammate, and friend, whose kindness, brilliance, and loving heart will not be forgotten.
