Philip Thomas Hutchinson Jr.
October 6, 1962 – March 27, 2021
Philip Thomas Hutchinson Jr went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 27, 2021 after a valiant fight with cancer. He was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Elizabeth and Philip Hutchinson, Sr. The family relocated, in 1964, to Central Arkansas where he later attended the University of Central Arkansas and University of Arkansas- Little Rock. Philip began working for KFC restaurants, where he met his wife, Cindy, and went on to work for Wendy’s for 28 years where he served as General Manager of the Rogers store on Walnut Street for the last 25 years. He employed several people with special needs, as he believed that everyone deserves an opportunity and a little encouragement to excel. He was a loving husband and father who loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed watching movies, Razorback games, listening to music and was a collector of old coins. Philip was the Vice President of the Super Naturals, a special needs team of which his son was an active member and he enjoyed coaching the team. Philip was incredibly generous to his friends and employees. Whether it be a ride to work or a meal when short of funds, he was always ready to help where he could. He was a big believer in community and donated many times to multiple fundraisers including Rogers school events and teacher appreciation days. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Cindy Hutchinson; his son and best friend, Jonathan Hutchinson of the home; and by his brother, Al Hutchinson and wife, Judy. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara and brother, Ron. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm, Friday, April 2, 2021 at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville. His Graveside Funeral Service will begin at 10:00am, Saturday, April 3 in Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.CallisonLoughFH.com

Philip Thomas Hutchinson Jr.

Phillip means a lot to the Jay family. He gave three of my daughters their first jobs, and employed a total of six of our family at one point or another. Although, all but one have moved on, what they learned working for Phillip has served them well. The one that stayed with Wendy's has moved up the ladder, I'm sure due to the boost she got from working for Phillip.
Phillips long career with Wendy's is to be commended. His steadfastness set a solid foundation for Wendy's, and for his family. He will be missed dearly.
