Quata Marvin Bundick

Quata M. Bundick, age 88, of Bentonville, died October 5, 2011, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County. She was born in Hollis , Oklahoma , on August 3, 1923, to the late Noah Marvin and Rosa Lee (Owens) Little. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Centerton. Survivors include her daughter, Dee Miller and husband A.J. of Bentonville; grandchildren, Sharon Clark and husband Jackie, Tom O’Neal, Jr., and wife Debbie, Kim Reynolds and husband Robert, all of Benton County, Denise Lee and husband Don of Carterville, Missouri; sixteen great grandchildren, 22 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Travis Bundick; and sisters, Eula Jackson, Vesta Mitchell, Hazel Cole, and Cleo Little. Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 9, 2011, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home, Bentonville. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday at First Baptist Church in Centerton, officiated by Rev. Stuart Bell. Interment will follow in Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers . Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Bentonville.

Of course, not everyone expresses grief in the same way.
Some reason as to whether the loved one died suddenly or death came after a long illness might have a bearing on the emotional reaction of the survivors. But one thing appears certain: Repressing your feelings can be harmful both physically and emotionally. It is far healthier to release your grief. How? The Scriptures contain some practical advice.

Talking about your feelings to “a true companion” who will listen patiently and sympathetically can bring a measure of relief. Proverbs 17:17 in part says “A true companion is loving all the time. “
