We’re so very sorry to hear about Bob’s passing. Both he and Harriet were good friends with my mom and dad. Karen and I always enjoyed the time spent with Bob and Harriet and really enjoyed playing cards at their house—they were great hosts. I remember seeing Bob at several Corvette car meets.

Sorry to hear about Bob's passing. I raced with Bob back in the sixties you could race 6 days a week and twice on Sunday, I thought he would have been a Pontiac man. Sorry I didn't get to talk to him about Korea I was over there to. I just recently sold my race car that I bought with my Korean war money that Ohio gave me I hope Bob had a wonderful retirement as I have had.

The Grigsby Brothers were great friends. Always glad to see them at car rallies and shows. They worked many hours for free to help us with our race cars. Bob dealt in Vette parts, as I recall, and live across from the Hasty. He was a great guy. Another Dayton guy, George Montgomery had a big article about his induction into the Racing Hall of Fame and Bob should be right beside him in that Hall of Fame. All race guys in Dayton will remember your dad as one of Dayton's Finest!
