Ruth (Renfree) Wood, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026 at the age of 97. She was born on September 2, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Joseph Wood; son, Gary Alan Wood; son-in-law, John Marshall Jr.; great grandson Thomas Krupske; sister-in-law, Sharon Renfree; brother-in-law, James Fowler; and parents, Edith (Ranftl) and Samuel John (Jack) Renfree.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Marshall; daughter-in-law, Catherine Wood; grandchildren Carrie (Kris) Ivicic, Jennifer Krupske, John (Diana) Marshall, and Ryan Marshall; great grandchildren Bryan (Rebecca) Krupske, Alexandria (Hunter) Fenoglio, Lane Krupske, Noah Ivicic, Kaitlyn Ivicic, Cooper Marshall and Lucas Marshall; brother, Raymond Renfree; and sister, Jean Fowler.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at Fox's Restaurant in Orland Park, Illinois.
