Thelma was raised in Nova Scotia, and it is here she met her husband, Jim MacGregor. The couple were married for 68 years, and they raised two children together. In her early years, she was a teacher and taught middle school students. In her twenties, Thelma moved to California to pursue more economic opportunity. She spent most of her life in Southern California, and later in her life she moved to Arkansas to be with her son and daughter-in-law. Thelma resided in Arkansas for a brief eighteen months. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, Cecil James “Jim” MacGregor; parents, Perley and Tena MacTavish; and daughter, Gayle MacGregor.
She is survived by: her son and daughter-in-law, Ian and Maggie MacGregor.
