Virginia was raised in Michigan, and then moved to Arkansas later in her life. She was married to Frank Hamilton, and the two of them shared 23 wonderful years of marriage together. Virginia served as an administrative assistant at the VA Hospital in Fayetteville until her retirement. She was a member of several social organizations, including the Jolly Rogers camping group and the Rogers Senior Center pinochle players. She was an avid card player, and she spent many hours playing cribbage and other card games. Virginia loved to travel, and she and Frank loved traveling across the world together. She also enjoyed fishing and dancing in her spare time. She was well-loved by so many people, and she will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, David and Katy Plank; and son, Mark VanNunen.
She is survived by: husband, Frank Hamilton of Fayetteville; daughter, Paula Duncan of Muskegon, Michigan; step children, Donnie Lee Hamilton of Fayetteville, Terri Tureman of Springtown, and Rosetta Taylor of Mountain Home.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 5th at 1:00pm at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville, Arkansas.
