

He was born in Ste. Hermenigilde, Quebec, on July 8, 1920 the son of Alexandre and Alma (Dube) Nadeau. He was married to Jeanne (Maurais) Nadeau and the two had 7 children. Aime was employed as a woodsman from the age of 16 to 72, experiencing the change from the bucksaws and crosscut saws with horses era to skidders and chainsaws. He wrote his memoirs and enjoyed telling stories of by-gone days and sharing pictures with anyone who would drop by. His greatest love was his family. He was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and an officer of the Holy Name Society of Guardian Angel Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as two sons, Roger and Claude Nadeau, three brothers Louis, Albert and Pete Nadeau and a sister Alberta Elzer .
He is survived by his wife as well as five children, Louise Guerin and her husband Donald of Berlin, Raymond Nadeau and his wife Jeanne, Claudette Morneau and her husband George of Milan, Maurice Nadeau and his wife Janet of Gorham and Arline Kimball and her husband Tom of Sandborton NH. He also leaves a daughter in law Linda Nadeau, four sisters Bella Marchand of Gorham, Cecile Parent of Tolland CT, Doris Marchand of Manchester, CT, Lucille Jackson of Fort Eric, Ontario, Canada and one brother Alex Nadeau of Yuma, AZ as well as 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call on the family on Wednesday, March 10th, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Fleury Patry Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish.
Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
