I was so shocked!!!! to read about the passing of Mr. Parker.  I really can't believe he is no longer with us, he will be truly missed.  He was a wonderful man and had a beautiful spirit as well as his wife, Mrs. Shirley Parker.  I knew him and Mrs. Parker ever since I was a little girl.  I will cherish the memories of him singing in the choir and kneeling at the altar for morning pray at the Old and New Mt.Zion Baptist Church in Brighton, AL.    I truly feel your pain Mrs. Parker, Derrick and Derron for the loss of this wonderful spirit.  A spirit that knew the One and True living GOD.  I pray that GOD gives The Parker family the strength and comfort they need during this difficult time.  Love you all.

Shirley, I just want you to know that Fred to our family was family. From the 1st day that we meet him he enter in, loved momma, visted her after his long Sundays at Mount Zion even after visiting  your parents you both took the time to stop by and show her love and for that I have always appreciated you both for that. You guys did a terrific job on raising 2 adorable boys to men. We will miss him and send all our prayers to the entire family. Love

To Shirley, Derrick,  Derron, family and friends 
 This is truly the first time this has happened. None of us being  able to be there to comfort you  doing this time of loosing someone so very special. Fred touched our hearts with his genuine love. And  we will  truly miss him. As I lie here thinking about the good old days growing up, as kid, I am reminded of our family slogan "The family that prays together, stays together ".  Even thou we are not there in person we are sending our spirit, our prayers and our Love to you.  Praying that God will give you everything you need to make it through this most difficult time.  I believe it was just as hard for Fred to leave us as it is for us to let him go. He was so caring he stayed around as long as he could trying to make sure you all would be alright.  As Heaven opens it gates wide to receive him and as we begin to bid our final farewell to him on this side, may you find some comfort in knowing we have another Angel watching over us. To the Parker Family,
I was sadden to learn of Fred's transition.  I was in high school only one year before he graduated.  His maturity left a lasting impression on me.  I regret that health will not allow me to be with you on tomorrow.   You will be in my prayers as you move through this experience.
