Allen “Ray” Idell Sr. of Harrah Oklahoma made his triumphant transition to Glory on September 11, 2021 after a short and sudden illness. He was born November 14, 1954 to the late JB & Dorothy Idell in Norman, Oklahoma. He attended Moore Public Schools, and in 2003 graduated from Rhema Bible College in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with a degree in Theology. Ray was a Christian man who loved God and his family. He took great pride in establishing the Little Axe Pentecostal Church where he was a pastor. He preached with passion, fervor, and had an animated personality. He adored his church family, cared about everyone’s salvation, and spoke the word of God with every opportunity. Ray loved spending time with his grandkids whom he was helping to raise. He was also known to be one of the best mechanics around. He enjoyed working on cars, riding his motorcycles, and anything that got his hands dirty. In his younger years he enjoyed coon hunting. Ray was blessed with a large and loving family and is survived by his wife of six years, Linda Idell of Harrah, son Allen Ray Idell Jr. of Moore, 8 grandchildren, Adam, Dalton, Desmond, Devin, Destin, Alex, Ethen, and Theresa, and one great grandson, Titus. Siblings: Martha Johnson of Moore, Marilyn McKee of Moore, Debra Jackson of Tecumseh, and Steven Idell of Moore, as well as many nieces and nephews, and countless cousins who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, JB & Dorothy Idell, his daughter Melesha Idell, and brother Ronald Idell.
