Bera Cozzens

Bera Cozzens, 91, long time resident of Oklahoma City, passed away February 24, 2011. She worked for many years for Rothschilds Department Store as a Customer Service representative until they closed. In her retirement years she was an avid gardener during the spring and summer and an accomplished knitter in the winter when the weather did not permit outside activities. She was an amazing ambassador for positive thinking and doted on her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her Chocolate Lab, Hershey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Cozzens and is survived by her daughters, Nan Harwood, Oklahoma City, and Betty Secrease, Lake Eufaula and grandchildren, Jeff Secrease and his wife, Nora of Oklahoma City, Dannette Secrease, New York City and Bill Secrease, Traverse City, Michigan, and three great-grandchildren, Valerie, Danielle and Allen Secrease and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held 2:00PM at Bill Merritt Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, March 1, 2011.
