Bertie Miner Coleman

Her parents were Bertie Miner and Jim Miner

She had three brothers, James, George and Walter and five sisters, Dorothy, Jewell, Lena, Peggy and Ola.

Bertie was married to Carrol Coleman for 69 years before he passed. They had a son, David Coleman in 1957, followed by a granddaughter, Desiree Slone, married to Bradley Slone. Bertie had two great-grandsons, Sebatian Coleman and Brayden Slone, plus many nieces and nephews that she loved and adored.

She lived a very long life full of travels with her husband and sons, all whilst standing by her husband while he worked in the Navy. She loved to garden and make quilts by hand. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her family was her life.

A visitation will be held at Bill Merritt Funeral Service, located at 6201 Northwest 39th Expressway, Bethany, OK 73008, on February 3, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The funeral service will take place 2pm Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Bill Merritt Funeral Service. She will be laid to rest at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
