Betty L. Rosenbaum

Betty Lou Jane Rosenbaum, age 91, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023. She was born November 25, 1931 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Ben and Ella Plemons. Betty graduated from Canute High School and went on to join the United States Navy. She married Paul Rosenbaum and together they built their home and raised their children in Bethany. Betty was a mother to everyone, was generous with her time and believed in giving back to others. She was extremely involved in church and donated her time in whatever capacity was needed. Additionally, she worked in the church genealogy library for many years. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great grandchildren and she loved spending time with them. Betty’s bright smile and beautiful blue eyes will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul (10/30/1980); children, Paul “PJ”, Windle, and Jannie; as well as 3 siblings.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Angel, Kenneth and wife Christie, Tanya, Kori, Bryce and Tanner; great grandchildren, Elisabeth, Kitana, Byron, Damarion “Trey”, Isaiah, and Ryan.

Visitation will be 5pm-7pm Monday, November 6, 2023 at Bill Merritt Funeral Service.

Funeral Services will be 2pm Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5020 NW 63rd St, Oklahoma City, OK 73132, with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 8701 Northwest Expressway, Oklahoma City, OK 73162.
