Lifelong Bethany resident, Brett Alan Hoover, 41, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019. He was born February 13, 1978 to Claude Ray Hoover Jr. and Carolyn Faye (Srum) Hoover. Brett attended Putnam City West and made some of his very best friends there. Everyone that knew Brett knew he was a dedicated and huge OU fan. He married Calena Harmon on October 10, 2010. They had to schedule their wedding around the OU schedule, of course. Brett loved all sports, hunting, fishing, and his family and friends. Those left to cherish their memories are his wife Calena Hoover; parents; brothers, Bryan Hoover and Brandon Hoover; grandmother, Estelle Srum; as well as a host of other family members and dear friends.

I know i didnt know you and Brett for a very long time. But the time i did get to know him was awesome. My dad and christys wedding is what brought us together and im thankful that i got to meet him. He will be missed. Wish you all didnt have to hurt. Prayers to you all

Brett, i know you are no longer sick and you are in Heaven with Christy, Cash, Annie and Nate having a blast but that doesn’t make it any easier to say see ya later. You always was the best and thank you for being there for my babies. All the kiddos love Uncle Brett... I’m glad you found true love with Calena. You will never be forgotten. Make sure y’all save us a place and we will see ya soon bro. Hugs always.

Brett was always a kind person. He had the sweetest heart and carred for everyone. He deeply loved my sister Calena she was his world. Brett will always be my sweet little brother. I remember us all going to the Bahamas together. Brett you ass I miss you. Come back so I can tell you how great a guy you were. Stop being stuburn acceot help. I need one of your strong hugs. God your going to be missed. Rest in sweet peace my friend until we meet again in heaven.
