Cruz Greenwood

She married William Greenwood in Streator, Il., and he precedes her in death. She is also preceded in death by one son William Greenwood Jr, and one daughter Marta Coates, and a son in law Floyd Lewis, Sisters Marta Guzman, Providencia Matos, Monserrate Matos, Isabel Matos Rio, and one brother Rafael Matos Rio.

Cruz is survived by her children, Pablo Rosado, of Streator, Il., Roberto (Gail) Rosado, of Chandler, AZ., Barbara Lewis of Oklahoma City, John (Mariel) Greenwood of Eden Prairie, MN, Deborah Greenwood of Oklahoma City, Pam (Odis) Smith of Peoria,Il. . and Roger Greenwood of Peoria, Il.

She is also survived by Many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews

Cruz worked as a Chamber Maid when she first moved to Streator, Il. And later as a factory worker, but one her greatest joys was when she moved to Peoria, Il. And began her career in Foster Care. Over several years she fostered many children, taking care of them as if they were her own.

Cruz was a member of the Parkside Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses. She dedicated her life to Jehovah God and was baptized on May 16, 1987. She was very zealous in her efforts to share the good news about Gods Kingdom, and the hope of living forever on a paradise earth. Her favorite scripture was Revelation 21:3,4

She loved music, dancing, playing cards, and just being with her family and friends. She will be greatly Missed by Many.
