Darlene Ethel Roland

Darlene Ethel Roland, age 85, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 24, 2023 in Meeker. She was born January 4, 1938 in Oklahoma City to Cleburne and Velma (Grigsby) Ladd. Darlene married Walter Lee Roland on June 12, 1981. Darlene was a devout Christian and was a faithful member of Jernigan Memorial Church of The Nazarene for 25 years. She was active in the church until her health declined. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her children, Steve Brinson, Clyde Brinson, Joann Nicholson and husband John; Anna Hunt and husband David; sister, Ann Wayda and husband Michael; grandchildren, Megan, Misty, Clay, Lisa, John David, Niki, Shawna, and Lindsey; as well as many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Viewing will be 5pm-8pm Monday, August 28, 2023 at Bill Merritt Funeral Service.

Services will be 2pm Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Bill Merritt Funeral Service with interment to follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Wheatland.
