David Leroy Tate

David was the son and middle child of Charles James and Anna Tate.

He began his life in Greene, Kansas before moving to Oklahoma at a young age. There he spent most of his childhood working hard on the family farm. He graduated from Putnam City and spent some time in the Air National Guard.

After graduation he started into the construction industry. Construction is where he found his passion. He would later go on to run his father’s construction company. In 2005 he retired in his Yukon home with his wife Mable. He enjoyed the time he spent with friends and family at University of Oklahoma football games, where he was also a season ticket holder for many years. He often took trips to Maui to meet with friends he would call the “September Crazies”. He also loved trout fishing the White River and going to the casino. David was preceded in death by his wife Mable, son Mike, parents CJ and Anna, brother Jerry, and sister Joann. David is survived by all his loving family and friends.
