

Ed was born on March 19, 1940, to Edward and Margaret Meyer and was raised in Okarche, Oklahoma. He graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1959 and proudly served in the Oklahoma National Guard from 1959 to 1966.
In 1961, Ed married Helen Fallaschek, and together they made their home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Ed worked for Western Electric for 35 years before retiring.
Ed enjoyed traveling and was proud to have visited all 50 states. He loved woodworking, fixing things, and staying busy helping others. He was happiest when doing something for family and friends. He cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who always made him laugh.
Ed will be remembered as a kind, generous, loving family man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a devoted member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
Ed is survived by his daughter, Margaret Nessman and husband Michael of Warr Acres, Oklahoma; son Kenneth Meyer and wife Sandy of Warr Acres, Oklahoma; and son Charles Meyer of Depew, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Sarah Mofle and husband Ted, and Emily Nessman; great-granddaughter Shelby Anne Mofle; sister Josephine; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Margaret Meyer; his wife, Helen Meyer; siblings Pauline Meyer, Laverne Hauenstein and husband George, Leo Meyer and wife Mabel, and Art Meyer; and brother-in-law Glen Benda.
