Born on January 13, 1943, at the family home in Amherst County, Virginia, Frances was raised in a coal mining family, where she learned the value of hard work and resilience from an early age. A true caretaker at heart, her family was always her greatest priority and joy.
Frances was known for her spirited personality and one-of-a-kind sense of humor. She shared a special bond with her grandchildren. Together they enjoyed car rides, sleepovers, thrift shopping, and spending a lot of quality time together. Her son and grandchildren were the loves of her life, and her unique quirks and loving nature will be remembered with warmth and laughter by those who knew her best.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Jackson Tyler and Pearl Hillary (Lipscomb) Tyler; her brother, Wilson Tyler; and her husband, Jerry Warren.
Frances is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Ben and Tammy Warren; her cherished grandchildren, Megan Warren and Andrew Warren; her brother, Earl Tyler; and her sister, Betty McCroy.
A celebration of Frances’ life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Homestead of Bethany.
