James "Jim" Freeman

December 21, 1936 – February 20, 2013

Jim Freeman., 76 of Oklahoma City went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Jim was born in Russellville, AR he grew up and married in Covina, CA. He is preceded in death by his parents Mack & Bea Freeman and Sister Becky Garduno. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Wanda Freeman. His Children: Jan & Jim Guadalupe and Gene Freeman; grandchildren Jimmy & Katie Guadalupe, Mark & Candy Freeman; Brittany & Levi Gilbert; great grandchildren Katelyn & Jacob Guadalupe, & Canaan Gilbert; sister Anna Blackard; brother Chuck & Inez Freeman; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was a licensed plumber and retired from OU Health Sciences Center. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren he will be greatly missed. Jim loved his church and spending time with all his friends. Visitation will be on Sunday, Feb., 24th, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Bill Merritt Funeral Service in Bethany. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Feb., 25th at Capitol Hill Assembly of God Church, burial will follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
