Jerry Le Roy Lyons, of Oklahoma City died Friday, April 8, 2011 after being ill for over a year. Jerry was born April 25, 1942 to Amos Le Roy and Tressie Lee (Dillard) Lyons in Pontiac, Michigan. Jerry was retired from the Oklahoma City Parks Department where he was employed for over 25 years.
Jerry was preceded in death by two siblings Tracy Luther Lyons and Jessie Wiseman Lyons. He is survived by his Brother Rickey Dale Lyons of Willis,TX; Sisters Sherry Ann Liggett of E. Liverpool,OH; Sandra Lynn Adkins of Calcutta, OH; and Terry Annette Chitwood of Cleveland, TX.
Services will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 2pm at the Bill Merritt Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery where Jerry will be laid to rest beside his mother and father.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bill Merritt Funeral Service, Bethany, OK.
