John Franklin Brewer, Jr., died December 19, 2010 at Integris Hospice in Oklahoma City after a lengthy illness. He was born November 22, 1956 in Lubbock, TX to John Franklin Brewer, Sr. and Merle Genevieve Brewer. He graduated from Putnam City West High School and also Platt College where he studied drafting and became interested in Electronics Design work. John became very skilled in the craft and worked for over 25 years as a Electronics Designer Engineer. He is survived by his parents and one son Mark Aaron Brewer of California. Other survivors include over 100 aunts, uncles and cousins by the dozens. He made friends easily and will be missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be sent to the Heart Association, Integris Hospice or any worthy cause of your choice. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 23, 2010, at the Bill Merritt Memorial Chapel.ts under the direction of Bill Merritt Funeral Service, Bethany, OK.
