So many people depended on you and you were always there for each of us.
God said, “your job is done, it’s time for you to rest” and took her home on March 17, 2026, in Bethany, Oklahoma.
LaDeana Marie Jefferson was born January 31, 1961 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Robert Herman Jefferson and Sondra Lee (Pitman) Jefferson. She was adored by her mother, Sondra and step-father, William Howard Morrison.
She grew up in the Nazarene Church and attended school in Hollis, Oklahoma before moving to Oklahoma City. She was a graduate of Central Innovative High School. She went to work at a wrecker service as dispatcher and went on to train other wrecker services. From there she went to work for the City of Oklahoma City where she helped to establish new areas in the IT Department.
Deana was a spirited and beautiful woman inside and out. She smiled with her whole body. Her eyes would twinkle and light up an entire room while looking into the depths of your being and letting you know she truly cared about you without saying a word. There wasn’t any problem she wouldn’t tackle.
On December 30. 1993, LaDeana Morrison married Thomas Douglas “Doug” Moore, II in Oklahoma City. They belonged to BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse) from the beginning and helped many children. Doug was a musician and Deana enjoyed being with him whenever and wherever he played. They were givers to all those who needed their help. They both retired from the City of Oklahoma City.
She is preceded in death by her step-father, William H. Morrison, I, her maternal grandparents, Valdhe F. Pitman and Emma Lee (Lowry) Pitman, and her paternal grandparents, Herman D. Jefferson and Kathlyn E. (Foster) Jefferson.
