Lillian Cecelia Sparagowski

Lillian Cecelia Reding Sparagowski, peacefully left us all on the morning of October 15, 2022 at the age of 98. She was born in Oklahoma City on August 18, 1924 to Nicholas and Magdalena Reding. Lillian grew up on her parent’s farm located at S.W. 36th Street and Western which is now the home of Integris Southwest Medical Center. She loved everything about living on the farm and told the family and her many friends, wonderful stories of her childhood that we will always treasure. During her life span there were 16 presidents and 4 British Monarchs. She attended Mount St. Mary Catholic School. Lillian married the love of her life, Leonard J. Sparagowski, on April 19th, 1944 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. They enjoyed 76 years of marriage. They welcomed their first son, Travis Jerome in November of 1944 and their second son, Randy Dale was born November of 1950. Lillian loved being a mother and homemaker, she was an excellent seamstress, cook and gardener her whole life. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leonard Sparagowski; her parents, Nicholas and Magdalena Reding; her siblings, Rosemary, James Lawrence and Sister Mary Jocelyn (Order of Mercy) and her daughter in law Jane Sparagowski. She is survived by her 2 sons, Jerry and Randy; Connie Cummings and husband James; granddaughter, Kym Rembert and husband Clyde of Dallas; grandson, Jeremy Sparagowsk and great granddaughters, Brooke Garrison and husband Trey of Houston and Caroline Cecil of Dallas.

A graveside service for Lillian will be held Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 2:00 PM at Rose Hill Burial Park, 6001 Northwest Grand Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73118.
