Linda Lou Rose

the second of two children. Linda began her education at Nichols Hills Elementary. She

graduated from John Marshall High School in 1968. Linda pursued nursing school in New

Orleans, and began her career as a registered nurse, caring for others as she loved to do. She

made lifelong friends during her 30 year service as a labor and delivery nurse at Integris Baptist

Hospital.

Linda had a gypsy soul who loved music, playing the guitar, and later discovered a new talent for

illustrating cards she would mail to friends, who enjoyed receiving the beautiful artwork.

Preceding her in death are maternal and paternal grandparents, father Leland Lemmons, brother

Terry Lemmons, and husband Carl Rose. She leaves behind, her mother Lavon Lemmons,

nephew Casey Lemmons (girlfriend Jessica Efaw), niece Shannon Lemmons (children Asher,

Aiden, and Journey), stepson Matt Rose (wife Kira, daughters Savannah and Scarlett),

stepdaughter Melissa Heath (husband Jason, daughters Cadence, Mackenzie, and Zoey), and

dear friend Jennifer Wall (husband Carl and daughter Carlee “Puff”).

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be donated to the American Cancer Society.
