Marie Jane Brooks, 62, passed away October 5, 2012. She was born March 14, 1950, in Princess Town, Trinidad & Tobago. She is survived by her mother, Velma Callender; 8 children: Darron & Wife Angela; Junior & Wife Venetia; Joanna & Husband Edmundo; Gillian & husband David; Robbyn; Raven; Cristal; Remington & Wife Meredith; Also, 19 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, Siblings: Helen, Oma, Patrick and Larry; brother-in-laws: Desmond Carter, Solomon Byron; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, Robert Brooks; Sister, Debra Joyett; and father Hillary Callender.
She was full of joy and laughter. She was loving, accepting, giving and kind. Wherever she went, she made friends, and they became family. Her family extends beyond what has been listed on paper, it is recorded in the hearts and minds of all who were touched by her.
