Marsha Louise Lancaster
January 25, 1968 – November 3, 2018
Bethany resident, Marsha Louise Lancaster, 50, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018. She was born January 25, 1968 in Marshall, Texas to Roy Alvin and Elizabeth Ann (Wilson) Williams. After graduating from high school, she moved to Bethany where she attended Southern Nazarene University. She met and married Jeffery Lynn Lancaster on February 25, 1989 in Richardson, Texas. They made their home in Bethany and raised their four children. Marsha was an incredibly loving and patient wife, mother, and granny. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a beautiful smile. Marsha loved scary movies, Christmas, 80’s pop music, and working hard. She lived to help others, and even though the last few years she was in incredible pain, she would never let that stop her from doing what needed done. She was an inspiration to all who knew her; a better friend could not be found. Marsha was loved beyond measure and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her twin boys, Roy Alvin and Ronald Lee Lancaster (1993). She is survived by her parents; husband, Jeffery Lynn Lancaster; children, Elisha Marie Lancaster, John Clayton Lancaster, Heidi Michelle Lancaster, and Ezekiel Wayne Lancaster; grandchildren, Laina Rachel Graves and Carson Stoney Frederick; siblings, Lisa Raykovich, Michelle Rutledge, and Melissa McKibben; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. Visitation will be 7pm-9pm Friday at Bill Merritt Funeral Service. Services will be 11am Saturday and Bill Merritt Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Marsha will always be in my memory as a sweet and fun-loving person. There was just something true and full of grace in her that always made we like her. I know her family was the world to her, and still is! She's not far from you even now.

I am so sorry to hear the news of Marsha's passing. I knew both Marsha and her sister Melissa from Allen High School. Melissa sent all of us the unexpected bad news just this week with this link to the celebration of her life. Although I have not seen Marsha in several years, she was a really nice lady. Melissa shared information about your family in her message. May God watch over each and every one of you in this difficult time. Seek comfort knowing that she loved you more than anything. Prayers continue from my family to yours.
