Mary E. Staples

Mary Staples, age 67 was born on January 20th, 1945. She was called home to the Lord on Wednesday, May 10th, 2012. She was survived by her siblings: Chuck Caldwell, Sallie Norton, and Georgia Drane. Mary had three beautiful children: Jennifer Knox, Jessica Gloria and Jonathan Wood. She also had nine grandchildren she loved to spoil, Zackary Kuzmic, Matthew Knox, Emmalie Ralynn Triplitt, Donnie Glen Triplitt, Christina Friar, Conner Wood, Cole Stephens, Caleb Stephens and Tanner Wood. She also has a great-grandchild on the way. Mary was known as a good friend, a dedicated mother and a wonderful grandmother. She would listen and she was slow to criticize. Her hugs could take almost any pain or hurt away, if just for a moment. She would make you feel like everything was going to be okay. Her passions included dog shows, painting and going out for girl’s night out once a month. She also had a passion for shoes. She could have four or five pairs of black shoes, Why, I just don’t know, that was just Em. Although called to the Lord suddenly, she will be eternally in our hearts and the memories we all have of her. She, like her mother, was a special lady. She will be missed greatly, but thought about often.
