Maureen Colbert Cude, 87, passed away March 30, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Maureen was born in Oklahoma City on November 2, 1931 to John and Carrie (Blissett) Looney. Maureen married Dixie A. Colbert in 1951 and they had six children. Maureen was married to Dixie until his death in March of 1968. Afterwards, she worked in the labor and delivery unit at St. Anthony’s Hospital for more than twenty-five years. She met Floyd Cude in 1992 and they were married in June of 1993. Floyd passed away in October of 2010. Maureen will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Survivors: Son, Dudley Colbert, Daughter, Charlotte Colbert, Daughter and Son-in-Law Dixie and David Sargent, Daughter and Son-in-Law Lou and Glen Jackson, Daughter and Son-in-Law Pam and Mike Hampton, and Son and Daughter-in-Law Joseph “David” and Claire Colbert. Maureen had fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, one sister, one daughter-in-law, one grandson and one step-daughter.
Funeral services will be held at Newchurch, 9201 N Rockwell, Oklahoma City, OK at 10:00 am Wednesday, April 3, 2019 and burial will be at 1:00 pm in Purcell, OK at Hillside Cemetery.
