

Nick leaves behind his wife, Linda, of the home; 2 daughters, Nannette Fischer and Nicoline Strom; step daughter, Lisa Lunsford; and 3 grandchildren, Sophia, Alexander, and Trevor.
Nick was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Frieda Strom; and 2 brothers, Jerry and Pete Strom.
Nick has been an entertainer from the time he could walk and talk. At the age of 7, he was in various educational movies and did numerous TV commercials in Chicago. At the age of 18, he entered the US Army where he served a total of 23 years. While in the service, he met his long time friend and partner, Earnie, where they formed the comedy team "Nick and Earnie". Nick being the funny guy and Earnie the straight man. They performed all over Europe. Back in the states and back to civilian life, Nick began his second career at United Airlines, Chicago, where he worked for 23 years. In 1990, Nick moved to Oklahoma City and began his third career at The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum where he worked just shy of 33 years with security.
At the age of 65, Nick began his tap career performing in many shows in and around Oklahoma City. He began with The Twilight Stars, joined Joan Colee's Oklahoma Seniors Cabaret, and performed several times for the Oklahoma Senior Follies. In 2005 he began performing for the National Creative Arts for veterans. He was selected 15 years to perform his tap dancing all over the United States. He was still dancing until Covid ended the performances.
Nick will be missed by all. He had a very full and happy life.
