Paul Ellard

Jewel Seals Ellard went to be with the lord on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at the age of 101. Born July 10, 1909, to Mr. and Mrs. S.M. Seals in Wichita Falls, Texas, she lived in Texas until 1929 when she married Paul Ellard and they moved to Cyril, Oklahoma. They moved to Bethany in 1939 and lived at 6806 N.W. 44th for 64 years. Jewel was a charter member of the Bethany Church of Christ and taught the Women’s Bible Class for almost 50 years She is survived by children Paul D. and wife, Pat, of Bethany; Gail and husband Bill White of Springfield Mo; 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul, daughters, Janelle Ellard and Jane Kinnin. A graveside service will be held 10AM, Monday November 15, 2010 at Bethany Cemetery, Bethany, OK. A Visitation with the family will be held at Bill Merritt Funeral Home from 3PM-5PM on Sunday. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to OMRF 825 NE 13th St OKC, OK,73104.
