Richard Lee Elliott, 68, passed away March 3, 2012 at his home in Moore, Oklahoma. He was born December 20, 1943 in Newport News, Virginia to Ruby Ball. After graduating from Canton High School he joined the US Army. He was honorably discharged from his service in 1970. Richard retired from Lucent Technologies after 21 years. He is survived by his aunt, Martha Wright; cousin, Melba Jean and her husband Roy; and a host of other loved family members and friends. Viewing will be held at Bill Merritt Funeral Service from 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Thursday, March 8, 2012. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 9, 2012 at the Bill Merritt Memorial Chapel where services will conclude.
