Riki Lynn Tarver

Riki graduated from Edmond Santa Fe High School and later attended the University of Central Oklahoma, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology.

On January 29, 2014, she married Brett Moore. Together they made their home in Oklahoma City and welcomed their son, Lincoln, who was the greatest joy of her life.

Growing up, Riki spent many of her happiest days surrounded by family, especially her sister and cousin Bryan. Many of those days were spent at Ft. Cobb Lake — spending time on the boat, singing along to Garth Brooks, and ending the day with dinner at Ski Boy. She also spent many weekends driving around Oklahoma with her family, antiquing and searching for treasures — a tradition that helped spark her lifelong love of collecting, especially jewelry, pottery, and vintage finds.

Riki was funny, witty, and incredibly intelligent. She had great style and enjoyed working on projects for her home and decorating. When something captured her interest, she loved to dig in, research, and talk about it with passion, often leading to deep conversations and spirited debates.

Above all else, Riki loved her family deeply and treasured the time she spent with them. She especially enjoyed simple moments at home with Brett and Lincoln — playing board games, watching movies, and listening to music together. Her humor, originality, and unconditional love will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rick Tarver; her paternal grandfather, Linos Tarver; and her maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Mary Jo (Baird) Hobson.

Riki is survived by her husband, Brett Moore; her beloved son, Lincoln; her mother, Sharon Tarver; her paternal grandmother, Mary (Finch) Tarver; her sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Josh Conrad; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rich and Cindy Jefferies; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her greatly.

A Celebration of Riki's life will be 10am Monday, May 18, 2026 at Bill Merritt Funeral Service.
