Rita G. Schumacher

Our loving sister and Aunt Rita Schumacher, 56, went to God’s Loving Arms on Thursday, May 31, 2012. Rita was born in Oklahoma City, Ok on June 13, 1955 to Edward and La Vonne Schumacher. She was a life-long member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Rita attended Rosary School and graduated from Classen High School. She was a proud member of the Classen Class of ’73 and active in the reunion committee. Rita was the Operations Manager for Knight Service Corporation for 34 years. Rita was devoted to family and especially her nieces and nephews whom she always spoiled. She loved traveling and taking pictures of our family adventures.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward, Mother, LaVonne, and sister, Donna. She is survived by her sister, Teresa, Brother Steve and wife Karen, Brother John and wife Charlene, and brother Joel and wife Tonia, nephew Jason and wife Natalia, nephew John and four nieces, Sara, Valerie, Lydia and Kim and friend Robert Worthen.

The family would like to thank Manor Care and Good Shepherd Hospice for their wonderful care of Rita. Donations may be made to the Fr. Schettler Endowment Fund at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
