Rodney Shriver

Rodney William Shriver was born Aug 4, 1940 to Samuel F. and Dorilda D. (White) Shriver in Hastings, Michigan and graduated from Hastings High School. He has owned Shriver Electric since 1986, and worked for Metroplex Electric OKC from 1972 until 1981. He and Beatrice were married 45 years and have 2 sons, Chad of Mustang, Daryl of Yukon, 1 daughter Susan Cooper of Colorado Springs CO, 9 grandchildren Alex, Ashlyn, Katelyn, Grace, Garrett, Claire, Chad Brock, Tiffani, Cody and 1 great-grandson. A sister Dolores Eichler of Battle Creek MI and brother Richard Shriver of Hastings, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Alfred (Sam) Shriver. He will be remembered and missed by his family, friends and numerous nieces and nephews Services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Williams Memorial Church of the Nazarene, 6900 NW 50th. Visitation will be Monday until 8PM at Bill Merritt Funeral Home. A Memorial Fund has been established at any Banc First location in Rodney’s honor.
