He is survived by his daughter and her husband, Shelli & Kevin Bradbeary of Blanchard, OK, his son, Joseph Peters of Warr Acres, his mother, Jacqueline Peters of Warr Acres, two granddaughters, Ashley Bradbeary of Mustang, and Kourtney Bradbeary of Blanchard, and one sister and her husband, Susan and Steve Prater of Sherwood AR.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Peters, and his grandparents, Claudine Hathcox, Bruno John Peters, and Fannie Peters.
Leon touched many lives with his generosity and willingness to help others. He loved music, baseball, animals and books, and always challenged himself to strengthen his knowledge.
A dedicated member of AA, he helped countless people turn their lives around, and considered this his life's work.
