Ruth Marie (Rogers) White passed away July 23, 2020 in Oklahoma City at the age of 83. She was born February 1, 1937 in Oklahoma City to Carl H and Lillian(Kooken) Rogers. Ruth spent most of her life in Bethany. She attended school in Bethany and Putnam City. She worked at the Bethany Hospital for 26 years. She was the chairwoman of the party committee at the hospital and always made sure that everyone had fun. Her greatest love was her family. She was always present and involved in their lives thru the good times as well as the bad times. She loved her pets, China, Chance and Missy. Everyone who knew Ruth, knew she was a lot of fun! Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and her 4 siblings, Kenneth Rogers, Margarete(Rogers) Robertson, Paul Rogers and Joe Rogers. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Denise Whitson Basinger and husband, Dennis of Oklahoma City, 2 grandsons, Frank Whitson of Oklahoma City and Carl Whitson and his wife, Katie of Moore, 2 great grandchildren, Patrick Medina-Reier and Lillian Whitson, sister-in-law, Carlene Rogers of Sulphur, OK as well as many nieces, nephews, extended and blended family and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, July 27, 2020 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm with the family available to greet friends from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

We became friends due to her favorite flower plant. My grandson used to loved her dogs as well. Missed our friendly chat. She will be missed but I know she will be happier now and at peace. Our prayers goes for her and family.💐

I remember the summers I use to spend with my aunt ruth I loved everytime we got to go see her spending time with her as a child was one of my greatest memories I remember she let us keep all the change we found we thought we hit the Jack pot . I remember one Christmas she took me to see Christmas lights an she ran a stop sign I said oh no aunt ruth u just ram that stop light she said it's ok Teresa Lynn I will stop twice at the next one an she did . I will miss my aunt ruth an cherish all the memories we made together an there was alot forever in thoughts an prayers I will miss u dearly say hello to my daddy I bet he is so happy ur with him again
