Ruthie Conner Taylor, 92, was born August 23, 1918 and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 30, 2011. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Emmett Conner and Haskell Taylor; son, Raymond Wilkins; and brother, Leon Woodring. Ruthie is survived by her children, Bobby Conner and his wife, Rebecca, Beth Ann Conner and her longtime love, Pat Pinkert, Charlie Conner and his wife, Jodie; Marton Conner and her fiancée, Ray Sandoval, Jean Gates and her husband, Harry, Cheryl Bivins and her husband, Tim, and Carol Olson; brothers, Preston Dorety and Frank McKinzie; 14 grandkids and 6 great grandkids. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Bill Merritt Funeral Service with interment following at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
