Shirley Marie Hinckle

Shirley Marie Hinckle was born October 21, 1934 in Marion, Illinois and on March 24, 2023 she passed quietly at home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Shirley was raised by her grandmother until she met and married her husband of 53 years, Roy Lee (Leroy) Hinckle whom she lost in 2005. Together they raised two sons in Pekin, Illinois prior to retiring in Florida, before ultimately moving to Bethany, Oklahoma to be with their family.

Shirley is survived by her son David and daughter-in-law Carolyn, and her son Mark and daughter-in-law Charlotte Hinckle. She had two grandchildren Christopher and Nathan and his wife Brittany and two by marriage, Christy Richwine and her husband Chad, and Marcie Kretchmar and her husband Michael along with six great-grandchildren, Luke, Landon, Ember Hinckle, and Chris, Ben and Teddy Kretchmar.

Shirley loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and visiting and traveling with her friends. Florida and Branson were always favorite places. She also enjoyed gardening, baking, playing cards, reading, shopping, and going to the theatre.

Shirley will be greatly missed; she was a loving and loyal wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
