Shirley Querry

Our loving mother and grandmother, Shirley Ann Querry, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. She was born April 11, 1940 in Dallas, Texas. Shortly after, her family moved to the Oklahoma City area where she was raised and graduated from High School. While working as a waitress at the YMCA, she met the love of her life, Jack Querry, in 1965 and they married in 1966. Shirley received her Associate’s Degree in Nursing in 1977 and worked nights as a nurse at Mercy Hospital for 28 years. She enjoyed travelling with Jack in their later years. She also had a fondness for the casinos, especially the penny slots. Shirley loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and had a huge part in raising them as well. She will be deeply and incredibly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Lulu Snyder and her husband, Jack Querry (2018). She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ross and Michele Querry; daughter, Connie Taylor; grandchildren, Blaine Duncan, Kaylyn Duncan, Erik, Josh, and Daniel Taylor, and Brent Querry; great grandson, Hunter Jack Duncan; and brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Pat Stevenson.
