Theresa attended Corpus Christi Catholic School and graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City. After living in Oklahoma City and Ponca City, she and her family purchased their first home in Bethany in 1965. In 2013, they moved to Yukon, where she lived until her passing.
On June 21, 1963, Theresa married the love of her life, John Sausins. Together, they shared more than six decades of marriage, building a life filled with love, family, and treasured memories.
Theresa enjoyed oldies, country, and pop music, especially Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Jimmy Buffett. She loved motorcycle trips with John, boating on Lake Tenkiller and Lake Texoma, and gathering with family and friends, whether planned or spontaneous.
A devoted Catholic, Theresa loved singing bass in the St. Charles Borromeo church choir alongside her daughter and grandson. Her family was her greatest joy, especially her grandson, who brought her endless laughter and light. She also held a special place in her heart for her dogs and the many friends who became part of her life.
Theresa will be remembered for her kindness, loyalty, quick wit, strong will, and unmistakable sparkle (IYKYK). She never hesitated to stand up for others and lived life with a personality all her own. Above all, she cherished her family and the life she built with John.
Theresa is survived by her husband, John Sausins; daughters, Leslie Sausins of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Nancy Renshaw of Kingston, Oklahoma; grandson, Christopher Lassiter; nieces, Claudia Schenck and Terri Williams; nephew, Mike Williams; and her beloved fur baby, Rowdy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivie and Alice Marie Williams; sister, Katherine Louise Williams, brother, Ivie Edward “Bud” Williams; sister-in-law, Enid Williams, son-in-law Steven "Poky" Renshaw and nephew, Steve Williams.
Theresa’s love, laughter, and sparkling spirit will be forever treasured by all who knew and loved her.
