Vivian Ann Cullimore was born in Anadarko Oklahoma to Mother Edith Heatley (Norris then)and Father Leroy Willard Norris on April 6th, 1944. Her father passed away when she was only 1 year old. Shortly thereafter she moved to Midwest City, Oklahoma. As a teenager she was a budding artist who enjoyed roller skates, and the occasional living room Sock hop. It has been said that Her mother would move all of the tables and furniture to the sides of the room so everyone could toss their shoes in a pile in the corner and dance the night away, poodle skirt and all. She was married 3 times in her life. The first was to Wesley Pierce with whom she met at a roller rink. They married in 1963, then in 1964 gave birth to a beautiful daughter Sherry. Vivian later remarried to Roy Schwartz in 1965, and gave birth to son, Roy in 1966. She worked for the State of Oklahoma Department of Human services, for 32 years. This is where in 1980 she met her 3rd Husband Clarence Cullimore III, and in 1981 gave birth to another son, Aaron. She is survived by 3 Children and their spouses; Sherry Nixon and Husband Joe David Nixon, Roy Schwartz and wife Frieda Schwartz, Aaron Cullimore and wife Christina Cullimore; 3 Grand-children Trayven Nixon, Daylan Nixon, and Zachary Schwartz; and 1 Great-Grand-Daughter Brealynn Nixon. During the 80's and early 90's she fostered many foreign exchange students through the YFCU organization. She was mother to kids from Japan, Chile, Germany and Finland. Vivian was an avid animal lover. She has owned and raised many different breed of dog including Pekingese, dachshunds, labs and Schnauzers. She was even known to spend the afternoon watching tv with her rabbit Joey sitting on her lap. She was especially fond of cats. She had many through the years and treated them as family, and close companions. Throughout her life she loved crafting, whether it was crochet, painting, or sculpting. Throughout her later years she spent much of her free time crafting works of art, made from eggs of all shapes and sizes. Some were ornately painted, or jewel encrusted, but she particularly loved making music boxes and miniature sculpted nature scenes within the eggs themselves. She nurtured creativity in others and was always willing to show or teach people how to do the same. She continued to work for DHS even through surviving breast cancer in 2002, eventually to retire in 2005 due to illness brought on by a brain tumor. She spent her final 5 years living with her son Aaron Cullimore and Daughter-in-Law Christina Cullimore, before moving to the Lakes Care Center in Oklahoma City. Vivian passed away peacefully on the morning of July 19th, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is loved by her family and friends and will be missed greatly.
