Walter L. Rutherford Sr., 86, passed away Jan 5, 2016. He was born Dec 10, 1929 in Selma, AL to parents Wiley B. Rutherford and Ruth E. Butters. He was a veteran of the Army and Air Force, as well as a member of Linn Avenue Pentecostal Church. He worked as a mechanic at Arrow Wrecker in OKC for 35 years. Walt was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Margaret, 1 brother, 4 sisters, and 1 grandson. Walt is survived by his children: Linda(Paul Breitling)McQuade of Skiatook, OK, LaVern (Keith)Cowger of OKC, Walter (Charissa) Rutherford of Sparks, OK, Tonya(Paul)Meixner of OKC, and Kelley(Joseph)Luecht of Yukon; grandchildren: Robert Weatherly, Christie Sinicke, Pat(Sandra)McQuade, Jennifer McQuade, Joey(Carrie)Ledbetter, Nancy Reel, Troy Moore, Amber(Jeff)Thomas, Joseph, Logan and Mason Luecht; and great-grandchildren: Jessica and TJ Sinicke, Nathan, Kiley, Emilea, Cayden and Brayden Ledbetter, Arelli and Savannah McQuade, Daniel and Summer Weatherly.
