William “Bill” Dean Bennett, age 54, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022. He was born February 9, 1968 in Oroville, California to Marion Bennett and Bonnie Mae (Sears) Helm. Bill was a proud member of the Choctaw Tribe and made beautiful flutes. The pride and joy of Bill’s life was his son, Jacob. He was always there to cheer him on, especially in football. He enjoyed watching sports as well, including the Oklahoma Sooners, the Green Bay Packers, and the OKC Thunder. Bill was very close with his family, even though they didn’t live close, and he enjoyed his long phone conversations with his dad and his brothers. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie. He is survived by his son, Jacob Bennett; father and step-mother, Marion and Jolene Bennett; brothers, Brian Bennett, Tim and Dana Bennett, and David Bennett; nieces and nephews, Ashley, Dustin, Garth, Ty, Shawn, Gracie, Christian (Amanda), Elizabeth, Jenna (Taylor); as well as numerous other family.
