William "Jerry" Jerome Lawson

He attended Putnam City Original, which is where he met Janice. In 1965, the two married and were blessed with three children: Jennifer, Bill and Jalene. He dedicated his life to his work as a machinist, taking great pride in his craft. He also spent time working side-by-side with his dad, Eldon, building houses across Oklahoma City.

In the early 1990's, Jerry met Louise and they married in 1993. They shared 32 wonderful years together. Jerry had a charitable heart, supporting children's hospitals and animal shelters. He and Louise adopted many stray dogs and cats throughout the years. Jerry's fondness for animals was only rivaled by his love for cookies and chocolate milk.

William Jerome Lawson passed away October 10, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eldon and Viola Lawson, and brother Don Lawson. He is survived by his wife Louise Lawson; daughter, Jennifer Lawson; son, Jerome "Bill" Lawson, Sr.; daughter and son-in-law, Jalene and Jason Trower; step-daughters: Linda Murray, Sue Rosa, Debbie Avey, Nancy Rogers; grandchildren: Erin, Julie, Torey, Alyssa, Ashley, John, Jerome and Caitlin; step-grandchildren: Bridgette, Jennifer, Taylor, William, Jason, Jamie, Brian (deceased); and 15 great grandchildren.
