After completing his education, he went to work for Air Flow Heat Technologies for 14 years.
Billy enjoyed life and fast cars. He was a passionate OU fan along with being a Braves fan. Most weekends you would find him at a dirt track watching, working as a pit man or even as a driver in the 70’s. Billy always looked forward to the Chili Bowl every year in January. He was also a big fan of Richard Petty and Jeff Gordon. So much so Charlie refused to let him be buried in the burial plot #3.
Billy had many passions such as working on old cars and wood working. His prize possessions were his 1926 T-Bucket and his 1964 F100 truck. He loved going to car shows and letting anyone and everyone sit in his T-Bucket. He also enjoyed giving everyone a ride around town, even strangers. He would help out his kids with any project they had going on, he may have been a little grumpy about it but we all know he loved being asked to help. If you were really lucky you would get to hear one of his many Dad jokes with his infectious laugh following the punchline. Billy met many people all across the state and he made friends quickly. He could sit and talk for hours about racing or classic cars. Billy also served as the a Past Master at Oklahoma City Lodge #36.
Above all else his biggest love of his life was his family. He was married to Dana for almost 49 years. Together they raised Valerie Foley and Charlie Pybas.
