She was married to Kirby A. Martin and member Knob Hill Baptist Church. She worked at Sparten Retail Store. Some of her hobbies included baking, gardening, traveling and camping. She considered her greatest achievement being a mother and grandmother and enjoyed her proudest moments at family holidays. She is survived by 2 daughters, Joan Ellen Stewart of Norman, OK and Sheila Ann Bray of Oklahoma City, 4 grandchildren, John, Ernie, Kim & Dena “Dean” 17 great-grandchildren and Little Jo. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; son Bobby Gilbert and granddaughter, Angela Coppock
Visitation will be Tues. May 7, 2013 at Bill Merritt Funeral Service from 9 am – 8 pm. Funeral Service will be Wed. May 8, 2013 at Knob Hill Baptist Church.
