Zoya Dell Parrish was born on February 2nd 1927 to J.D. and Mettie Parrish in Bethany, Oklahoma, and entered into rest January 19, 2015. She was the 5th of 8 children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Herman and Milton, sisters Naomi, Almeta, Valeta, and twin sister Zela, her son, Carl and daughter Pamela. She is survived by her brother Archie Parrish of Atlanta, Georgia, son David Newton of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, daughters Ruth Caldwell of Purcell, Oklahoma, and Sharon Steele of Oklahoma City, eight grandchildren , 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She and her twin, Zela, were inseparable as children. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and sewing. She adored the many dogs she had through the years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved reminiscing about childhood memories and family get-togethers. She will be greatly missed by many.
